Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a structured, confidential collaboration between you and your therapist aimed at understanding and managing difficulties that affect your life.
When can it help?
When a situation feels overwhelming, when symptoms such as anxiety, sadness, anger, fear or sleep problems persist, or simply when you want to understand yourself better. Psychotherapy is not only for crises; it is also a space for growth.
Issues we commonly work with
- Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias
- Depressive feelings, loss and grief
- Traumatic experiences and post-traumatic stress (PTSD)
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Burnout
- Self-esteem and identity
- Emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and adolescents
How it works in practice
We begin with one or two initial meetings to understand your concerns and plan a therapeutic framework together. Sessions usually last 50 minutes and their frequency is set with you (most often weekly).
Confidentiality
Everything that is said in sessions is covered by professional confidentiality in accordance with the Code of Ethics of Greek Psychologists and applicable Greek and European legislation.
