Neurofeedback & qEEG
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, educational method that uses biofeedback to help the brain regulate itself more effectively.
How it works
A specialised EEG device records brain activity in real time. The client receives visual or auditory feedback based on that activity and, through repetition, the brain learns to move toward more functional patterns.
When it helps
- Attention and focus difficulties (ADHD)
- Learning difficulties
- Sleep difficulties
- Chronic stress and anxiety
- Tension headaches and migraines
- Performance enhancement in demanding settings
About qEEG
Quantitative EEG (qEEG) is a detailed analysis of brain activity that allows us to design individual training protocols. It is a functional mapping, not a medical diagnosis.
Combined with psychotherapy
Neurofeedback does not replace psychotherapy. The two tools complement each other very well: one supports biological self-regulation, the other supports meaning-making and processing.
